TIPS IN TEN: Using Colored Flash to light a foreground and create a complementary colored background.

Amy Nack is a printmaker and paper artist living in Boise, Idaho. In 2009, she founded Wingtip Press, the Treasure Valley’s first, and only, independent community printmaking studio and workshop. The studio supports all forms of non-toxic print-making, including etching, intaglio, relief, mono-type, collagraph, embossment, screen printing, mixed media and book arts. The studio houses two 24" x 56" etching presses, several small portable table top presses, a book press, etching tank, drying rack and assorted inks and tools to support each printmaking medium. Amy will present her art form as prints, and she will bring her small printing press. In this art form, a two-dimensional media can be 3-D.
